Reparations

All beings deserve liberation, freedom, spiritual, soulful, mental and physical health. Some humans, particularly Indigenous, Black, Latinx, Queer, & Trans folx haven’t had full or equitable access to liberation and healing because of colonialism, hetro-patriarchy, & white supremacy. As a staff, Remembering Earth recognizes our own colonial legacies and their relationship to displacement and disconnection. We do not want BIPOC or queer or trans participants to have to pay for the reclamation of connection to land/nature/place. Remembering Earth commits to reparations for queer, trans, BIPOC as an offering to collective liberation and hopes to deepen and expand reparations offerings.

At this time, RE is offering 2 mentoring packages as reparations for BIPOC and is in the process of creating a reparations fund, and materials to further facilitate access to healing and wholing. We will also a backpacking trip to a BIPOC group as reparations. Please contact us to begin working together.
